What Does Delayed Period Along With Nausea And Sore Breasts Indicate?
So me and my boyfriend have been trying to have a baby for 6 months now and I still have a week before my expected period but I have like flu like symptoms and I get heat flashes and short of breath from small tasks, and get small headaches and get nauseous and really sore boobs for like 5 days now and I believe I m getting and yeast infection what is happening?!
It is quite possible that you have succeeded in getting yourself pregnant. Some people do experience pregnancy symptoms fairly early, and yes you are more susceptible to yeast infection during pregnancy as well.
It is completely safe to treat the yeast infection with a vaginal pessary even when you are not sure if you are pregnant. You can try something like clotrimazole.
I would wait for another week or two before trying the urine pregnancy test, because it probably won't show right now. If you would rather not wait, a quick blood test for beta hcG at your local doctor's can be done at any time, and is a lot more accurate.
Take a folic acid supplement, if you haven't already started doing so. Don't smoke or drink alcohol, and eat balanced meals.
Hope this helps, and all the best to you.
Regards, Dr. Teh
